Gear

I have amassed quite a bit of equipment over the last many years, and although I've used it all, lately my rig has gotten pretty simple: guitar, cable, amp. Below is a partial list of the stuff that takes up room in my studio. Items with an asterisk '*' are ones I'm currently using pretty frequently. One of these days, I plan to include photos...

Guitars:

1976 Gibson ES-175 D, teabag sunburst

1995 Epiphone Sheraton II (my workhorse for many years, a very, very good guitar, and great value for the money)

*1996 Epiphone Howard Roberts, wine red (equipped with Kent Armstrong p/u)

* 2006 Fender MIM Tele, Blue Agave, equipped with Jason Lollar Charlie Christian p/u (another killer axe)

Amps:

1980s Roland Cube 60 (another workhorse for many years)

* Carvin SX-100 (a ridiculously good amp at a great price)

* Carvin ACD-100 (good for bass, acoustic guitar, etc)

Crate BX-50 bass amp

* 1980s Peavey Special 112 (the practice amp, a tank, with a spring 'verb, great sound,160w RMS, and headroom to burn)

Kustom GAA-65

Drive 30 bass amp
